Some of our new favourites for a warm afternoon include our ham off the bone with plum & apple jam freshly baked baguette & crisps, drunken chicken in a cider & honey sauce with mash & green beans, hand pressed local lamb & mint burger with minted yoghurt & cucumber & chunky chips, and our butternut squash, goat’s cheese & spinach lasagne.
At The Foxton Locks Inn we are now offering a variety of specialty meal nights. Every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday we will be serving up something special for you to enjoy.
On Sunday afternoons we will be having our Sunday Carvery, this will consist of a selection of meat with as many roast potatoes and freshly cooked vegetables as you want. This will be served from 12pm to 7.30pm. If you enjoy our carvery on a Sunday, then why not come along to our Wednesday carvery and enjoy all the trimmings from the buffet?
Monday evenings will be Pie Night. Eat as much as you like from our home made pie buffet, which will be served from 5.30pm to 8pm. We will also be having Curry Nights on Friday evenings, also serving from 5.30 to 8pm. You can help yourself to 3 curry dishes plus poppadoms, mango chutney and naan bread. Even better then for the new summer menu which includes a wide array of options including traditional staples like char-grilled gammon steak, fish pie and steak & kidney pudding, plus less traditional options like Parma ham and strawberries, butternut squash, goat’s cheese and spinach lasagna or seabass, lime and ginger fishcake.

Choose from great starters like Somerset brie & asparagus cheesecake with plum & apple chutney, or sea bass, lime & ginger fishcakes. Our enticing mains include salmon supreme, butternut squash, goat’s cheese & spinach lasagne and old favourites like chargrilled gammon steak. On Sunday’s enjoy extra options that make a Sunday afternoon complete like roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, toad in the hole, or half a roast chicken with sage & onion stuffing.
